One of the most difficult series to find in issued form. Issued for circulation in the northwestern regions of Xinjiang Province, these notes did not have a large print run due to their relatively large value as gold notes, especially the 10 Gold Fen. A colourful note with ornate dragons within an ornate lathe border. The date is stamped just beneath the upper border, and the note is validated by a hand-signed signature on the lower border. Light handling and circulation signs as expected for grade and devoid of any other distractions. It is an extremely rare note with a total PMG population of just seven notes, and one of two in second finest grade, bested by one in 53. An attractive design and colours highlighted by problem-free paper culminate in an appealing and historically important note destined for an advanced Foreign Bank collection.
