chimney clock - HAU / HAC (Pfeilkreuz) - Vintage Wood, Brass - 1920-1930

Classic German Art Deco mantel clock manufactured by the renowned Hamburg-American Watch Factory (HAU / HAC). The curved oak case features subtle wood carving at the top and a neatly finished lower edge. Under the round dial there is a charming window with four facet-cut glass panes behind which the pendulum moves back and forth. The gold dial has clear black numerals, an extra 24-hour indication, and the well-known trademark with the two crossed arrows (Pfeilkreuz). The mechanical high-quality movement also bears the HAU/HAC stamp and is equipped with a Bim-Bam chime system on tone bars. Including the matching winding key. Condition: Good, working condition. Runs well and the bell strike/gong functions properly. The wooden housing shows light, normal signs of wear and a beautiful patina appropriate to its age.
