Chest of drawers - Wood - Unique letterbox

Characterful wooden mail slot – graceful contours and warm wood grain Give your correspondence a place with character. This wooden mail slot combines a practical layout with decorative design: two compartments in sequence, rising panels and gracefully beveled top edges. The warm brown color and pronounced wood grain make it an attractive focal point on a desk or in the hall. The rounded arches and stepped contours return in the front, the middle panel, and the tall back panel. A profiled baseboard provides a neat framing for the whole. At the top there is an opening for wall mounting. Wooden mail racks with separate compartments and a formed back wall belong to a long tradition of desk accessories for organizing correspondence. Similar historical pieces were suitable for both a desk and wall hanging. The exact age of this mail slot has not been determined. (1stdibs.com) Even today, it offers a charming spot for letters, cards, and small documents. A atmospheric decorative object for lovers of classic office accessories and worn, lived-in wood.
