Lacquered and Hand-Painted Early 20th Century Venetian Little CommodeDelightful antique Venetian commode from the early 20th century, characterized by an elegantly wavy line and refined lacquered and hand-painted decoration. The structure features a shaped front and sides, with two large bombe drawers decorated in the center with multicolored floral bouquets, executed with a delicate painterly touch on an antique ivory-lacquered background. Frames and profiles are highlighted by moldings and details in a darker tonality that enhance its sinuous movement. The top panel, also shaped, is painted with a central floral motif framed by rich volute decorations, in harmony with the drawers beneath. The shaped legs terminate in curved feet and also bear small painted floral motifs, providing stylistic continuity to the entire piece. Internally the drawers are finished and lined, offering good capacity and functionality. A piece with great decorative charm, ideal for bedrooms, entrances, or spaces in Venetian and shabby chic style.
