With an oak frame and veneered wood decoration, featuring inlaid openwork cubes set within recesses. The front features two drawers arranged in two rows. The front legs are bevelled and the feet are curved. Transition period. Vein-patterned red marble top. Brass fittings on the skirting and lock plates in the form of clasps, and pull handles in the form of medallions bearing the profiles of laurelled emperors. On the underside, a mark in black ink: M.B.X 23. Height: 83.5 cm – Width: 85.5 cm – Depth: 45 cm. (damage, woodworm, gaps in the marquetry and restorations)
