Chest of drawers - 1960s teak chest of drawers - Teak, Iron

Elegant small chest of drawers dating back to the 1960s, characterized by clean lines, compact proportions, and the unmistakable warmth of teak, a wood particularly appreciated in design of the period. The piece features three roomy drawers, with fronts enriched by the beautiful vertical grain of teak, which creates a refined decorative effect without resorting to superfluous ornaments. The drawers are equipped with original black mid-century style handles, enhanced by small metallic brass-tone detailing. The structure is raised on four tapered black legs, ending in small metallic feet with adjustable brass-colored tips, which visually lighten the piece and underscore the esthetic typical of the ’60s. Its compact dimensions make it particularly versatile: it can be used as a bedroom chest of drawers, an entryway cabinet, a large bedside table, or a small container in a study or living room. A sober and authentic piece, perfect for Mid-Century design enthusiasts, capable of fitting naturally into both vintage environments and contemporary contexts. Shows normal signs of age and use.
