Jewelry with numerous small pearls in warm shining yellow gold was a great fashion in Great Britain from the late years of Queen Victoria. Her designs followed the various styles that came in and out of fashion between 1870 and 1920. This pendant, light and airy and elegant, is a fine example of the taste of the time shortly after 1900. A seawater blue aquamarine shines in the center, framed by fine seed pearls that sit on delicate gold bars. Another aquamarine, in the shape of a drop, swings freely below. A gold frame frames the composition, which looks like a flower. The pendant is typically British and we discovered it in London. We have added a new gold chain so that it can be worn immediately.
