Charles Fazzino (1955) - SAIL 4TH (Official Commemorative Poster, 2026)

Charles Fazzino Original Poster "SAIL 4TH" The official poster by Charles Fazzino was created on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the Independence of the United States (1776–2026) and honors the maritime mega-event “Sail 4th 250.” Size: about 61 x 46 cm The centerpiece is a spectacular panoramic view of Lower Manhattan’s skyline with the One World Trade Center, framed by a large waving American flag. Above the city, a colorful fireworks display lights up the night sky, symbolizing the celebrations for the USA’s 250th anniversary. In the foreground, the New York Harbor stretches out, featuring an impressive fleet of historic tall ships and modern vessels participating in the international Tall Ship Parade. The Statue of Liberty, the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, an aircraft carrier, as well as numerous sailboats and accompanying ships emphasize the maritime significance of the event. Characteristic of Charles Fazzino, the motif combines bold colors, extraordinary attention to detail, and an optimistic, vibrant visual language.
