CHARLES AND RAY EAMES (AMERICAN, 1907-1978, 1912-1988) LOUNGE CHAIR AND OTTOMAN, MODEL NO. 670 & 671, DESIGNED 1956, 2004 Walnut, leather, aluminium Manufactured by Vitra, with paper label and 'Original/ Eames Lounge Chair/ Charles Eames/ vitra' plaque Lounge chair: 83cm high, 84cm wide, 90cm deep Ottoman: 43cm high, 64cm wide, 55cm deep Provenance Purchased from Vitra in Switzerland 22 years ago. The leather is very clean indeed. The look of the walnut is mostly clean, there are a few small thin scratches and scuffs in places, though a longer one to one of the back panels and very faint. Then there is a deeper scratch patch/knock to the underside of the ottoman (out of view) and a smaller but again more substantial knock to the underside of the chair (also out of view). Feet and fixings present and in good condition, with minimal signs of wear.
