PREPARATION, SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY Each item is checked, cleaned or sanitized in a manner compatible with the materials and its condition, then carefully packed. SUPPORT AND REPORTS For any clarification or issue, contact us via the order messaging on Catawiki, indicating the lot number and describing what you found. In case of damage, item not as described or missing content, promptly report the problem also to Catawiki support, preferably immediately and in any case within 3 days as provided by the platform procedure, to allow the handling of the complaint and possible suspension of payment. This operational term does not entail forfeiture of the right of withdrawal or the legal guarantee under the applicable terms. CONSUMER WITHDRAWAL When the buyer acts as a consumer and the legal conditions apply, they may exercise the right of withdrawal without reasons within 14 days of receipt of the item, pursuant to arts. 52 et seq. of Legislative Decree 206/2005, with exceptions provided by law. The decision must be communicated via an explicit declaration to the seller, also using the Catawiki procedure. The item must be returned within 14 days of the withdrawal notification. For mere reconsideration, the direct cost of return is borne by the buyer, unless otherwise agreed. Amounts due by law, including standard initial delivery costs, will be reimbursed; higher costs for a more expensive delivery chosen by the buyer are not due. Refunds are issued without undue delay and in compliance with the law, with the possibility of suspension until the item is received or the return proof is provided, under the conditions provided by law. Amounts collected directly by Catawiki are managed through the platform according to their respective powers, without prejudice to non-derogable rights. The purchaser is responsible for any decrease in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to verify the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item, within the statutory limits. LEGAL WARRANTY AND DEFECTS OF CONFORMITY In consumer sales, the legal conformity warranty provided by arts. 128 et seq. of the Consumer Code applies, also for used goods, taking into account prior use and contractually declared characteristics. The ordinary duration of liability is two years from delivery. For used goods, any reduction, however not less than one year, applies only if validly agreed and permitted by applicable law. In case of a conformity defect, the consumer is entitled to remedies provided by law: repair or replacement, where practicable, or reduction of price or contract termination when the conditions apply. Our commercial preference is to resolve valid disputes by returning the item and providing a full refund when appropriate, rather than negotiating informal discounts. This preference does not exclude mandatory remedies, including price reduction. When return is due to a defect attributable to the seller, the necessary expenses are borne by us in accordance with the law. Expenses for other cancellation scenarios are determined by the cause of cancellation and the applicable provisions. RETURNS, REPAIRS AND INTEGRITY OF THE ITEM Before performing repairs, restorations, adjustments or interventions by third parties, contact us to allow problem verification and agreement on the solution. Unauthorized interventions may alter the original state, compromise assessments and affect liability for damages or defects caused by them. Automatic refunds for interventions commissioned independently to third parties are not provided. The purchaser’s non-derogable rights remain intact: an unauthorised intervention does not, by itself, determine the loss of protection for defects independent of the intervention. Amounts already collected by the platform should not be automatically considered due again. When necessary, fiscal or identifying data may be requested for customs clearance.
