Centrepiece - Porcelain - Flower Sèvres table centerpiece.

Magnificent Porcelain Centerpiece (Jardinière) with a Romantic Gallant Scene & Rich Floral Applique. This floral centerpiece is a splendid example of classic craftsmanship, executed in a graceful, curved form with a soft blue and white glaze. On the front there is a atmospheric, romantic gallant scene in the style of Jean-Antoine Watteau. It shows a love couple in a classical garden setting, framed by an elegant cartouche. When you turn the piece over, the back reveals a refined hand-painted bouquet of colorful field flowers. The edges and handles are highly sculpted with exuberant curls and rocailles textures. Around the central medallion and along the wavy rims are masterfully formed, three-dimensional porcelain flowers and roses in pastel tones. At the bottom, the piece is marked with a blue underglaze mark (meander with 'S'). This majestic centerpiece is in excellent condition. As is customary with such refined porcelain work featuring three-dimensional appliqués, the delicate petals and rocailles have remained in very good condition. The height of the centerpiece is 24.5 cm, the width 30 cm, and the depth 25 cm. The piece weighs 2800 grams. The colors of the product may differ slightly from the photos. The centerpiece will be securely and superbly packaged and shipped.
