Censer - Bronze, Metal - Huge censer with Griffins

A large and heavy white metal censer or urn, reticulated and engraved with dragon heads. The censer flanked by three large, gilt bronze griffin handle. France ca. 1880 Measuring h. 53.5 cm w. 44.5 cm and weighing over 6.2 kg Condition: Overall good with marks and wear commensurate with age. There are three metal rings that goes on top of the censer on which the cover is placed. Whether these are supposed to be loose or not is uncertain. The rims of the rings and the top of the censer are uneven. Please see the photos Will be sent by registered and insured mail.
