Gaul - Celtic - Celts - Celtic. Bituriges Cubi Auctioned for the first time in 1968 by a Swiss auction house Munze a medallion! Recently acquired from an auction house, this coin suffered an attribution error! It is a bronze attributed to the Bituriges Cubi. Superb specimens. Bronze CASIANDIDOS ND. 80–50 BC, head left, with the hairstyle and a torque around the neck. Good centering, very nice patina, a few scratches on the reverse! The new atlas introduces a new variant DT 2586, with the esse and the annulet pointed around the eagle. Those who have produced a specimen of great rarity! Very few specimens listed!
