Collar with Celtiberian as from Sekaisa (Segeda) — 2nd–1st centuries BC. Attractive 50 cm long necklace that incorporates an ancient bronze coin attributed to the historic Celtiberian mint of Sekaisa (Segeda, Zaragoza), dated approximately between 130 and 72 BC. The obverse presents a male head facing to the right, with the characteristic iconographic motifs of Celtiberian coinage. The reverse preserves the equestrian representation typical of these issues, with a horseman on horseback. These coins circulated during a decisive period in the history of Hispania, marked by the clashes between Celtiberian populations and the expansion of Roman power. The piece preserves an appealing ancient patina in green and coppery tones, with a relief of notable historic character. It is presented mounted as a pendant by means of a metal ring on an elegant black cord, blending contemporary aesthetics with the legacy of pre-Roman Hispania. Features: * Coin: Celtiberian as, attributed to Sekaisa. * Chronology: 130–72 BC. * Material: bronze. * Coin dimensions: 23 × 3 mm. * Necklace length: 50 cm. * Mounting: metal ring and black cord. A singular historical jewel that incorporates a coin of more than 2,000 years, representative of Celtiberian monetary culture prior to the consolidation of Roman dominion in Hispania.
