[CAYLUS (Count of)]. *Les Écosseuses, or Les Œufs de Pâques*. Troyes, Veuve Oudot, 1739. In-12, brown morocco, Jansenist style, interior lace, edges gilt on marbled paper (David). First edition of this collection of jokes and other bawdy works composed by members of the Société du bout-du-banc, who gathered for merry dinners at the home of the actress Jeanne-François Quinault.
