Cay of Soft Waters - Petra Meikle de Vlas

Cay of Soft Waters by Petra Meikle de Vlas Painting 40.2 x 80.3 :: Cay of Soft Waters by Petra Meikle This large coastal wall art piece A Cay of Soft Waters is a turquoise lagoon painting inspired by the quiet beauty of the Great Barrier Reef’s coral cays at low tide. From an aerial reef artwork perspective soft blush sand meets translucent turquoise shallows where gentle tidal pathways weave and unwind with complete ease. The colours are calm the movement is slow and the entire scene is wrapped in a serene natural stillness — the kind of quiet coastal moment where the world feels untouched. Perfect as coastal art for living room spaces above a bed or throughout light-filled modern interiors this work brings a sense of air clarity and calm to any room. The soft blue and peach tones evoke warm shoreline light and shallow coral reef water making it ideal for beach houses coastal-inspired homes open-plan living spaces and contemporary interiors craving spaciousness and peace. As you move closer to the surface of the artwork fine detail appears — delicate veins tidal channels shifting textures and tiny reef-like formations. What feels simple and still from afar becomes deeply intricate and full of gentle movement up close just like shallow reef waters as the tide slips quietly in and out. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Contemporary Subject: Seascape Width: 40.2 Height: 80.3 Depth: 1.4 Weight: 55 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
