A beautiful five-sided (rare) Boulle-style Liqueur Cabinet / Likeurkelder, inlaid with brass marquetry in the Boulle technique, engraved red tortoiseshell. The top has a convex, bulging shape, while the front is double-curved. The removable interior, made of rosewood and adorned with gilded bronze, exudes refinement. The complete Baccarat crystal set consists of four decanters and sixteen glasses with gilded accents; one glass matches a decanter, a matching miniature chip to a glass—see photos Stands on four brass feet. Additionally, a working key is included. This Cave à Liqueur dates from circa 1880, Napoleon III period; in good condition and is extremely rare. At the bottom is the original label: Ely-Labastire - a well-known French furniture maker, upholsterer and interior decorator.
