Catraro - Block carving/ Relief, Madonna - 20 cm - .925 silver

The Madonna by Lippi and the Madonna della Scala by Correggio. Splendid pair of engravings on 925 silver sheet. Both stamped in the lower right corner. Refined past goldsmithing craftsmanship, of great quality and Italian elegance. Works mounted in fine wooden frames. On the back, a certificate of guarantee from the Goffredo Catraro art workshop. Each silver plate measures 8 x 6 cm. They weigh 335.5 and 351.5 g respectively. Only slight signs of wear visible from the photos. Very fascinating and in excellent condition.
