Carpet - 355 cm - 273 cm - Chinese rug

A floral medallion and gentle pastel tones define this hand-knotted wool Chinese rug. Its warm beige base with rosé and apricot nuances forms the background for a balanced arrangement of decorative individual motifs. At 355 × 273 cm, it is especially suitable for generous living and dining areas. In the center lies a rounded floral medallion that encloses a geometric ornament. Tiny floral branches and butterfly motifs are scattered loosely across the interior field. Larger flower arrangements adorn the four corners and echo the colors and shapes of the central motif. The open spaces between the ornaments give the design a calm effect. A cream-colored border frames the interior field with curved floral tendrils, leaves, and recurring geometric elements. Rosé, apricot, pale yellow, and selective stronger red accents complement the light base tones. Gray-green leaves provide a subtle contrast. This Oriental rug harmonizes with light upholstered furniture, natural wood, and restrained wall colors. Its floral pattern can be paired with both classical furniture and a simple, modern decor.
