Carolina Bellachi - Cúpulas de Luz nº 12 XXL

Carolina Bellachi - Cúpulas de Luz nº 12 XXL

Cúpulas de Luz No. 12 explores the encounter between light and depth through a composition of atmospheric layers, subtle transitions, and multiple layers of paint. The artwork invites the viewer to pause and contemplate how light gradually emerges from darkness, creating a sense of calm, openness and silence. Its transitions of color and depth generate a constantly evolving visual experience that changes according to the surrounding light and the viewer’s perspective. Rather than depicting a specific landscape, the painting creates an open space for interpretation, allowing each viewer to project their own emotions and establish a personal connection with the work. ⸻ Emergetism Carolina Bellachi is the creator of Emergetism, an artistic movement unrelated to the term emerging artist. Its name refers to the act of emerging, understood as the unfolding of deeper states of perception and consciousness through contemplation. Her technique combines sculptural reliefs, multiple layers of paint and translucent glazes applied from different angles to create depth, movement and a continuous interaction with light. Inspired by psychology and a metaphysical reflection on consciousness, Emergetism proposes a form of painting that invites the viewer to remain fully present, setting aside both past and future in order to experience a state of mindful contemplation. From the artist’s perspective, this state of presence allows a deeper connection with one’s own inner experience. ⸻ About the Artist Carolina Bellachi is a Spanish artist whose work forms part of the permanent collection of the Copelouzos Museum (Athens, Greece), an institution that also houses works by internationally renowned artists such as Damien Hirst and Fernando Botero, among others. The museum acquired one of Carolina Bellachi’s works for its permanent collection, placing her work within an international artistic context. She is represented by a New York gallery and collaborates with galleries in Madrid. Her work has been featured in Vogue, ELLE Decoration, Harper’s Bazaar, The World of Interiors, Artribune and Monopol, among other international publications. ⸻ Valuation The artwork is accompanied by its Official Certificate of Authenticity and Valuation, issued by I-CAC (France). The professional valuation of this artwork is €9,020, based on the artwork’s format and the artist’s professional index established by I-CAC. The institution determines its valuations by considering the artist’s career, international publications, gallery representation, museum presence and other professional assessment criteria. ⸻ Shipping The artwork will be carefully rolled and securely packed in a professional high-resistance shipping tube, specially prepared for international transport. The shipment includes: • Official Certificate of Authenticity and Valuation issued by I-CAC (France). • Professional packaging for international shipping. ⸻ Information for Collectors Carolina Bellachi’s work is part of the international gallery and collectors’ market. Due to the nature of art auctions, the final hammer price achieved on Catawiki may differ from the artist’s usual gallery and private sale prices. The €9,020 professional valuation issued by I-CAC (France) serves as a market reference based on the artist’s professional index and the institution’s established valuation criteria. The final sale price will be determined exclusively by collector interest and the course of the bidding.
