All auctions / Lighting / Carlo Nason - Murano Due - Wall lamp - Model Contessa

This majestic wall lamp was designed in the 1980s by Carlo Nason for Murano Due, bearing the apt model name ‘Contessa,’ which in Italian means ‘countess.’ The design stands out for its organic, goblet-like form. The lamp is made of mouth-blown Murano glass using the incamiciato technique and consists of double-layered glass. The interior is soft white opal glass and the exterior is lightly satinized glass in an amber color, producing a pleasant diffuse light. The lamp has a cord with a switch, but it can also be connected directly to a power point. A beautiful lighting object that is seldom offered and therefore a true addition for enthusiasts of rare design lighting. Dimensions: H 44 cm. Ø 22 cm. The lamp is carefully packaged and shipped insured with track and trace. Dlight Dsig
