Impressive Carcharodontosaurus tooth, a genuine fossil from one of the largest predatory dinosaurs to ever walk the Earth. Consolidated in situ with specific products prior to extraction to preserve its integrity, following standard paleontological practice Carcharodontosaurus, whose name means “shark-toothed lizard,” lived during the Cretaceous period (approximately 100–94 million years ago). It was a massive theropod dinosaur, comparable in size to Tyrannosaurus rex, known for its long, serrated teeth designed for slicing through flesh. This fossil tooth shows the classic blade-like shape typical of the species, with natural enamel texture and visible serrations, making it a remarkable collector’s piece. Each tooth is unique, formed and fossilized over millions of years. The fossil from the Arte Terra collection has been paired with a solid wood display base, custom-made to enhance its beauty and scientific value. On the front surface of the base, a laser-engraved naturalistic illustration depicts the prehistoric animal to which the specimen belongs, reconstructed in its original environment. In the bottom right corner, the “Arte Terra – Fossil Mineral Design” logo is featured as a guarantee of authenticity and artisanal craftsmanship.
