Camera is in chrome-finished metal with a black leatherette grip. The top plate is engraved Canon, NO. 542336, and CANON CAMERA COMPANY INC. JAPAN, and includes a red diamond mark containing the letters E P. The camera features a bottom-mounted trigger film advance lever and a selectable viewfinder dial for 35, 50, and RF settings. The base is engraved MODEL VT de luxe. It is fitted with a Canon Lens 50mm f:1.8, No. 221060, marked Canon Camera Co. Japan, with a manual aperture ring and focus scale in feet. Accessories include a metal Canon front lens cap, a glass screw-in filter, and an original brown leather carrying case with strap.
