Candlestick - Gold leaf

Splendid, large and ancient Baroque altar candlestick in wood, finely hand-carved and silver-plated with gold leaf finishes. A precious baluster shaft richly decorated with mouldings and acanthus leaves, resting on a tripod support moved by scrolls and a turned circular base. Refined eighteenth-century artisanal craftsmanship of rare quality and Italian elegance. Some slight and normal signs of wear visible in the photos. Very charming and in good condition.
