Camel Trophy – Adventure Watch – Mondaine – 661.669‑099 – Swiss Quartz – 1990s The Camel Trophy Adventure Watch reference 661.669‑099 belongs to the Mondaine period within the Camel Trophy watch line. This series was developed in connection with the famous Land Rover Camel Trophy expeditions and is known for its rugged construction, practical design, and clear Swiss Made finish. The Adventure models were intended as reliable tool watches with a clear, functional look. This example is equipped with a Swiss quartz movement, as is characteristic of the Mondaine generation. The white dial bears the Camel Trophy logo and features large, easy-to-read lume markers. The case is made of stainless steel and features a world time bezel, a distinctive element within this series. On the case back is the Mondaine logo (circled M) and the reference 661.669‑099, which clearly places this model in the later Adventure line. The hardened mineral glass is in neat condition with a few light surface scratches. The case shows subtle hairline scratches consistent with normal use. The bezel has developed an even patina. The watch is mounted on a black leather strap with white contrasting stitching and a pin buckle. The watch has remained overall very clean and neat over the years.
