Likely dating 1800–1850, Louis Philippe Symmetrical bronze handles (still fairly substantial and restrained) Wood construction of the upper cabinet (not a fixed bookcase) The upper cabinet originally partly served as a clothing/linen storage space. • Exterior: walnut • Interior: pine/Spruce (typical Dutch) • Knobs/pins: hardwood, original This contrast is precisely a sign of authenticity.
