Cabinet - solid mahogany and oak wood

special cabinet: this piece of furniture was specially made at the end of the 18th century to serve as a print cabinet. In the lower cabinet we would normally expect three drawers. Here we see two doors with behind them six wide drawers for storing prints and drawings. The doors have iron slides that ensure they stay at right angles to the drawers, and on the inside there are slats on which the drawers can rest. The style is Louis XVI. Finely executed garlands on the doors. Nice mahogany wood. The bolts are original and were imported from England at the time. I only ship to EU member countries.
