Size: 20.5x31x1.5 Weight: 3.1 kg This is a vertically symmetrical, sand-cast bronze idiophone meticulously weighted and shaped to resemble a Buddhist stupa pagoda or the abstract profile of a seated, robed Buddha. It features a center suspension hole drilled perfectly at its balance threshold. When suspended from its leather strap and hit firmly on its flared wingtips with a soft mallet, it generates a heavy, low-frequency base chime. As the striking kinetic energy forces it to spin vertically on its axis, it creates a sweeping acoustic phenomenon known as phase shifting—producing a mesmerizing, throbbing natural vibrato as the sound wave rotates toward and away from listeners.
