Bulgaria. Boris III. 50 Leva 1940 - NGC MS62

BULGARIA. 50 Leva. 1940. Boris III (1918-1943) - Value: 50 Leva. - Reign: Boris III (1918-1943). - Year: 1940. - Inscriptions: Obverse: БОРИСЪ III ЦАРЬ НА БЪЛГАРИТЕ, bust of the king facing left, engraver A. BERAN's signature on the neck. Reverse: 50 ЛЕВА · 1940, surrounded by a crown of wheat ears, oak leaves and roses tied by a lower ribbon. - Grade: MS62 (NGC). Coin of 50 Leva with a mature portrait of King Boris III oriented to the left, in a realistic and sober style, with good facial modeling and finely worked hair. The reverse presents a balanced and detailed botanical composition, combining wheat ears, oak leaves and roses, symbols of prosperity and strength, with the denomination and the date clearly centered. The specimen shows well-preserved reliefs, largely clean fields with slight contact marks typical of the grade, and a bright and uniform silver patina that enhances the overall appearance, offering an attractive and solid in-hand presence.
