BUFFALO BILL WILD WEST PIONEER EXHIBITION FRAMED BROADSIDE This broadside should date to 1913 and is listed as a Saturday event. There were only two Sat. Sept 13th dates during this era, 1902 and 1913. There is mention of " The Great Train Robbery" act which Bill premiered at the Madison Square Garden in 1907 so poster could not be 1902. The left bottom of poster has the image of Lakota leader Sitting Bull "Killer of General Custer" whom only performed with Bill for four months in 1885 but is listed on this poster as signing autographs, not probable as he died in 1890. Opposite Sitting Bull is an image of Annie Oakley who started performing with the show in 1885 and did participate in the Pioneer Exhibition but this event never happened in Springville in 1913. The large image of Bill shows him on his Arabian stallion named Muson. This is a fantasy piece, age unknown. This show went bankrupt in July of 1913. Even if poster was printed prior to bankruptcy, Sitting Bull should not have been advertised. The thick paper poster is mounted on a wooden board and does show wear, fading and age and makes a nicely framed display piece. Item Dimensions: Frame: 19" x 22 - 1/2". Item Dimensions:
