The fuel tank is not coated and retains the original color scheme. The engine is equipped with a new clutch, chain, various seals and gaskets, and has updated wiring. The dynamo has been rewound and the oil scraper and compression springs have been renewed. The sidecar was used by the Marechaussee in the 1960s. The motorcycle was sent by the factory on 12 September 1960 to Whitby’s Acton Ltd. — London, 273 The Vale (see BSA Certificate). The engine was subsequently imported from England in 1978 and registered in the Netherlands in 1995. Since the import the engine has covered few miles. The original odometer reads 10,491 miles.
