- Excellent condition (Excellent functioning) - Aesthetically perfect - Origin Spain Dimensions: 10cm x 8.5cm x 4.5cm The Soul of Metal: History of the David Marshall Clock In the 1970s, the Scottish sculptor David Marshall was captivated by the light and landscapes of Málaga, Spain. There he founded his workshop, creating a unique artistic language that challenged industrial perfection. His philosophy was based on listening to the materials: he did not seek to hide the imperfections of metal, but to celebrate them. This desk clock is born from that brutalist and organic spirit. Each piece was produced individually through artisanal casting, turning an everyday precision object into a timeless sculpture. It was not just a instrument to measure hours, but a statement of authenticity where the roughness of metal and the elegance of time coexist in perfect harmony. Artistic Description Noble Materials: The main body is forged in thick tin, with a characteristic matte gray finish and rough textures that evoke natural rock formations. The Golden Contrast: Around the dial rises an imposing asymmetric frame of cast bronze. The golden shine contrasts with the sobriety of tin, bringing warmth and visual dynamism. Author Detail: At the base of the front stands the iconic seal or engraved logo of David Marshall, the unmistakable signature authenticating its artistic provenance. Classic Dial: At the heart of the structure rests a clock with a clean white dial and Roman numerals, a touch of traditional elegance that balances the avant-garde boldness of the exterior design.
