Brush pot - Bamboo

Brush pot - Bamboo

Attention! It is not currently possible to ship packages to the United States. A very fine antique Chinese bamboo brush pot from the 19th century (possibly older). Decorated with Wusong defeating the tiger, from the story collection "Romances of the Water Margin." A very artistically carved combat scene. Wusong is the second general of the 108 generals of the bandits on the Liangshan Mountains. The 108 "Heroes of the Liangshan" were merely forced refugees from the corrupt government of the Song Dynasty. Bamboo is very difficult to work with. Very natural patina. Condition: good Some natural cracks, which is normal for bamboo brush pots, see photos Otherwise fine Shipping worldwide: 35 euros Shipping only Dimensions: 11 cm high Intercontinental shipping takes about 10 to 15 business days; in special circumstances it may take about 20-25 business days.
