Bruno Bani (1964) - Satellite

Bruno Bani (1964) - "Satellite" Year: 2026 Color: Red, white and gold Size: 30 x 30 cm Technique: Mixed media This fascinating work by Bruno Bani, titled "Satellite", is a perfect example of his mastery in the use of geometry and light. Created on three overlapping canvases and painted in three distinct colors — red, white and gold — this piece reflects the simplicity of forms and the purity of colors, distinctive features of Bani's art. The geometry of the overlapping canvases creates a stratified composition that adds depth and dynamism to the work. The clean lines and essential shapes evoke a minimalist aesthetic, which allows the focus to be on the fundamental elements of color and form. The application of gold leaf adds a touch of magnificence and light to the piece, making it particularly evocative. The white LED light, positioned between the first canvas and the circle, enhances the volumes and creates an elegant and measured visual effect, capable of transforming the perception of space and establishing a subtle dialogue between light and matter. Note: gold leaf responds dynamically to external light. The incidence and direction of the light source can generate reflections and shades that vary slightly, altering the visual perception of the work depending on the viewing point. "Satellite" is not only a painting, but an installation that symbolically represents an element of space. This theme is recurring in Bruno Bani's works, renowned for his ability to evoke the infinity and mystery of space through precise geometries and LED and UV lights.
