"Total Eclipse" (40x40 cm) is a work by the artist Bruno Bani, known for his exploration of light and geometry, and for the ability to create minimalist compositions that explore cosmic phenomena. In this piece, the red canvas hosts a leaf gold disk, superimposed onto the surface in such a way as to evoke an eclipse. The insertion of the white LED between the canvas and the circular element creates a light effect that emphasizes the interplay between fullness and emptiness, illuminating the surrounding environment and recalling the interaction between darkness and revelation typical of eclipses. The choice of colors, deep red and gold, heightens the symbolic tension between strength and spirituality, while the simplicity of the shapes allows for a profound reflection on the transformative power of light. Bani, already known for his explorations with LEDs and UV, transforms the painted surface into a sensory experience, capable of capturing the viewer's attention and imagination. The work is signed on the back by the artist, unique and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
