The year 1888 will be a particularly happy one for me, as it will allow me to work with a master whom I love and admire. Let me tell you once again how grateful I am to you.” This letter attests to Bruneau’s admiration for his correspondent and his enthusiasm at the prospect of an upcoming artistic collaboration.
