Magnificent Art-Nouveau brooch (circa 1890-1915) in 14ct gold, 22.92 g, with dimensions 34.05 mm × 28.05 mm × 16.84 mm. Central stone: a huge pink-violet tourmaline, rubellite variety, cabochon oval, dome-shaped and substantial, measuring 23.55 mm × 18.82 mm × 10.66 mm, estimated weight 38.1 ct. Beautiful pink-violet color with growth features and natural internal inclusions, attesting to its authenticity. Also 4 old mine-cut diamonds, 3.89 mm × 3 mm approximately 0.65 ct, VVS1–VVS2, H–I color. No report regarding any treatment of the gemstones to enhance color and clarity in this specific case.
