The 2nd Coppa della Toscana - 4 June 1950: an exceptional organic lot comprising: 1. Official blue and red guide titled “The 2nd Coppa della Toscana - 4 June 1950” with the course characteristics; 2. International Driver’s License issued by CSAI (Italian Sports Automobile Commission); The license dates back to 1950, the inaugural year of the Formula One World Championship and a golden era for major Italian road races (Mille Miglia, Targa Florio, Coppa della Toscana). 3. Official SARA insurance card (Official Insurance Company of the Automobile Club of Italy); 4. Letter from the Bologna Automobile Club, sports section, issuing the International Driver’s License to Avvocato Alberto Vincenzi, of Livorno, to be regarded as belonging to the classic postwar gentleman driver figure (professionals, lawyers or doctors with a passion for racing who bought sports cars and participated in the era’s most important road competitions). The Coppa della Toscana was a famous postwar Italian road race; the 1950 edition saw the participation of 181 cars and the victory of the Serafini-Salani team in a Ferrari 2000. Measurements: Width 12.50 cm, Height 23.50 cm. Condition: in good condition (see photo) with slight oxidation of the two central joining points of the guide that does not affect the text.
