Brittany rocks - Anne Baudequin

Brittany rocks by Anne Baudequin Painting 36.2 x 24.0 :: Brittany France Brittany the eternal muse of artists continues to inspire me with its wild and untamed beauty. The interdependence of the elements is fascinating. The water rocks and light interact and challenge each other to form a scene that is both peaceful and powerful. There is a fluid dialogue between stillness and movement between raw presence and the unleashing of elements. This piece is painted ""alla prima "" allowing me to seize the fleeting effects of light. The quick execution provides spontaneity and vivacity to my brushwork. The white finishing on the sides of the canvas allows if you wish for hanging without a frame. :: Type: Painting Medium: Oil Style: Impressionist Subject: Seascape Width: 36.2 Height: 24.0 Depth: 0.8 Weight: 2.2 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
