Blancpain Léman Réveil GMT 2041-1130M-53B – automatic – alarm – GMT – date – black dial – original black leather strap The Blancpain Léman Réveil GMT is a technically special model from the Léman collection, in which a mechanical alarm function is combined with a second time zone and date display. Reference 2041-1130M-53B has a sporty-elegant appearance with a black dial, large luminous Arabic numerals, and a polished steel case. The automatic movement is visible through the transparent case back and features a separately adjustable mechanical alarm function. The case has multiple crowns/controls for this. The watch is supplied with the original black Blancpain leather strap and Blancpain-signed buckle. The crystal has light scratches. Normal signs of use are also present on the case, case sides, and clasp. ────────────────── Basic information Brand: Blancpain Collection: Léman Model: Réveil GMT Reference: 2041-1130M-53B Movement: automatic mechanical Functions: hours, minutes, central second, date, GMT/second time zone and mechanical alarm Case material: stainless steel Dial: black Band: original black Blancpain leather strap Clasp: Blancpain-signed buckle Case back: transparent Wrist fit: approximately 19–20 cm ────────────────── Important details This model stands out for the combination of a mechanical alarm and GMT function. The various functions are operated via separate crowns and pushers. The black dial features large, highly contrasting Arabic numerals and broad luminous hands. In addition to the normal time display, multiple additional indications are integrated, including the second time zone, date, and alarm function. On the case flank the name BLANCPAIN is prominently engraved. ────────────────── Manufacturing year Estimated year of manufacture: circa 2000s. The Léman Réveil GMT belongs to the Blancpain Léman generation from the 2000s. Without dated documentation, no exact production year is provided. ────────────────── Case Round stainless steel case with predominantly polished finish. The characteristic Léman case features curved lugs and a rounded, layered bezel. Due to the various crowns and controls, the watch has a distinctive technical character. The case shows signs of use and hairlines, with somewhat more noticeable superficial scratches on the polished parts. The shapes of the case and lugs remain clearly recognizable. ────────────────── Glass The crystal has light scratches and superficial signs of wear. These are particularly visible under certain lighting. The dial remains clearly legible. ────────────────── Dial Black dial with: - Large Arabic hour numerals - Luminous hour markers - Broad luminous hour and minute hands - Central second hand - Date window between 4 and 5 o'clock - 24-hour/GMT indication - Mechanical alarm display - Small seconds/function display - Minute scale along the outer edge - BLANCPAIN signature at 6 o'clock - SWISS MADE indication The various subdials and indications are in the same dark color scheme, giving the watch a cohesive look despite the many functions. ────────────────── Réveil / mechanical alarm function One of the key features of this Blancpain is the mechanical alarm function. Unlike an electronic alarm, the alarm signal is fully mechanically driven by the movement. The alarm time can be set separately and the dial includes its own indication for it. This makes the Réveil GMT considerably more complex than a conventional automatic Léman. ────────────────── GMT / second time zone The watch also features a second time zone. The 24-hour indication allows reading a second time and distinguishing between day and night hours. This is particularly practical for travel or tracking a time zone elsewhere in the world. ────────────────── Movement Blancpain automatic mechanical movement. Through the transparent case back, the movement is visible. The rotor bears Blancpain signature and the “JB 1735” logo. The movement features a refined high-quality finish with blued screws and decoration on the rotor, bridges, and plates. The mechanical construction combines normal time display with date, second time zone, and alarm function. Frequency: 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour. ────────────────── Timegrapher measurement Measured deviation: +6 seconds per day Amplitude: 295° Beat error: 0.2 ms Lift angle: 52.0° Frequency: 28,800 A/h The measured values show, at the time of testing, a neat amplitude and a small beat error. A timegrapher measurement is a snapshot in one testing position and does not guarantee future accuracy or full technical condition of the movement. ────────────────── Case back Transparent case back allowing the automatic Blancpain movement to be seen. The rotor is bearing: BLANCPAIN JB 1735-logo Also visible are various movement markings and decorative finishes. The metal edge of the case back shows normal signs of use and scratches. ────────────────── Crowns and controls The Léman Réveil GMT has several separate controls for the different functions. The knurled crowns suit the technical design of the model. Blancpain details and engravings are also present on the case sides. The controls show light signs of use that correspond to the overall condition of the watch. ────────────────── Band and clasp Original black Blancpain leather strap with crocodile pattern. The strap shows wear and clear signs of use, including creasing, wear around the used holes, and localized wear of the surface and edges. The strap is present and included with the watch but should be considered clearly used in condition. Equipped with Blancpain-signed metal buckle. Suitable wrist size: approximately 19–20 cm, depending on the hole used. ────────────────── Condition Case: neat used condition with hairlines and localized scratches Crystal: light scratches present Dial: well-kept and easy to read Hands and hour markers: well-kept Case back: signs of use and scratches on the metal rim Band: original Blancpain, clearly worn Clasp: Blancpain-signed, with light signs of use Movement timing: +6 seconds/day, 295° amplitude and 0.2 ms beat error ────────────────── Included Blancpain Léman Réveil GMT 2041-1130M-53B Original black Blancpain leather strap Blancpain-signed buckle ────────────────── Overall condition A technically interesting Blancpain Léman Réveil GMT with mechanical alarm, second time zone, and date function. The timegrapher measurement during testing shows a deviation of +6 seconds per day, an amplitude of 295° and a beat error of 0.2 ms.
