Bertoncello - Roberto Rigon - Stile materico e scultoreo...

Extraordinary decorative pitcher/jar with a handle, signed by the renowned designer and ceramist Roberto Rigon for the historic Italian manufactory Bertoncello Ceramiche d'Arte (Schiavon, Vicenza) between the late 1960s and the early 1970s. An excellent example of the famous experimental and material phase of Roberto Rigon, where Mid-Century Modern design meets the formal suggestions of the Space Age. The object stands out for a strong sculptural presence, conceived not only as a functional element but as a true collectible work of art. Aesthetic details and workmanship: Form and Design: Asymmetric and dynamic lines, characterized by a slender body with a pronounced spout and solid lateral handle, resting on a base with a bold geometric outward flare. Material Finish and Color: The piece exhibits the typical and refined stylistic contrast of Rigon's material era: the upper surface features a pronounced grainy and textured white-ivory finish (raw/veined stone effect), contrasted with the base enriched by a hand-painted graphic motif with vertical arches in green and glossy enamel accents in vivid red-orange and purple tones. Conditions: Excellent vintage condition, with bright glazes and intact structure (please carefully view the attached gallery photos, an integral part of the description). Dimensions: 30x20 Shipping: The lot will be packed with the utmost care using professional anti-shock materials and shipped via trackable and insured courier to guarantee total protection The AI photos are to give the client a potential furnishing idea.
