Small flambe glazed ceramic vase of ovoid form with a flared rim. The reduction-fired exterior glaze displays a mottled palette of orange, crimson, and deep purple with iridescent black tones and characteristic lava-like texture. The body is decorated with a gilded Viking longship motif set against stylized sea foam and wave patterns. The interior is finished in a solid oxblood red glaze, and a thin gilded band trims the rim.
