BELGIUM, Pourquoi Pas? [Why Not], 1930, a bronze plaque by G. Devreese and J. Ochs for Fonson, conjoined busts of Léon Souguenet, Louis Dumont-Wilden and George Garnir to left, rev. caricatures of the same individuals, edge impressed j. fonson, 73 x 66mm, 165.09g (Willenz 325; cf. CNG e591, 804; cf. Höhn e17, 4586; cf. Elsen 133, 1563). Test mark on edge at base, otherwise very fine and patinated £60-£80.
