Belgium. 3 aandelen New Beerschot Athletic Club (rond 1955) (No reserve price)

• Name: New Beerschot Athletic Club – Société Anonyme. • Incorporation deed: 4 April 1913, published in the Belgian Official Gazette on 17 May 1913. • Headquarters: Antwerp. • Share capital: 10,800,000 francs, divided into 10,800 shares of 1,000 francs. • At the top it reads: "Titre créé après le 6 octobre 1944". That means this specific share was printed after 6 October 1944, but the company itself had existed since 1913. The share is perhaps from the period 1955-1958. The company New Beerschot Athletic Club S.A. played an important role in the development of the Beerschot Stadium. An academic study on Beerschot’s history describes that the Grisar family, owner of the Beerschot grounds, contributed its property to the newly established joint-stock company "New Beerschot Athletic Club S.A." (AI info) The combination of a football club, Antwerp, 1913 formation, and a nicely decorated certificate with 26 coupons makes it attractive to collectors of both scripophily and football memorabilia. An AI estimate gave the following results: • €75–150 per share if it is a relatively commonly issued share. • €150–300 per share if it proves to be rare and there are several interested Beerschot collectors.

Estimate:$2.24
