It is an antique blanket hand-embroidered with Cantù lace (as the label states: "Cantù blanket hand-embroidered") on natural ecru/beige linen fabric, enhanced by elegant full-stitch floral embroidery. Cantù lace (the traditional bobbin/bobbing technique with the typical rosette and scroll motifs) is among the most renowned Italian techniques, and it still commands strong demand in the market for premium bed linens. Never used, in perfect conservation condition.
