Bedspread - 235 cm - 240 cm - Handmade bedspread

It is entirely handmade, executed with the Filet crochet technique. This is a geometrical craftsmanship of the highest precision that creates a magnificent “drawing effect” that is geometric and figurative, clearly visible when the fabric is stretched. The design develops vertically in alternating bands, the main bands hosting a romantic continuous motif of rose stems with leaves, characterized by buds opened defined in minute detail. The thinner dividing bands feature a geometric pattern of small diamonds or linked chains. Made from 100% cotton yarn, the color is a refined natural white. It is part of the family’s trousseau; more than 500 hours of labor were required to make it.
