It is all made of old-time pure linen, of that excellent quality, fresh and substantial, which today you can hardly find anymore. The thing that makes it truly special is the embroidery, made entirely by hand with a patience and a finesse indescribable. There are delicate little flowers in shades of pink, green and lilac, alternating with beautiful edging inserts and cutouts along the borders. . It is a small detail that makes you understand how much work goes into it and proves that the sheet has remained intact over time. The item is practically new: it has only been wetted once in water, as our grandmothers used to do to “set” the good linen and soften it, but it has never, ever been used. It is a splendid piece, perfect for those who can recognize the value and beauty of handmade things from a time past.
