His work has also been featured on British television Channel 4, in the programme “Huge Homes with Hugh Dennis.” His work is part of a search around image, collective memory and the traces left by time. Drawing inspiration from images of the 20th century, Bazévian explores their transformation, alteration and reinterpretation through a personal pictorial language. Between collective memory and personal history, his work evokes oxidized, erased or transformed images by time. The gaze becomes presence, texture becomes light and every image reactivated by imagination gradually transforms into a new memory. Bazévian thus develops a singular and sensitive universe, at the border between figuration and abstraction, where fragments of the past become the starting point for a contemporary and personal œuvre.
