Magnificent Basilosaurus Fossil Monumental fossil skull belonging to one of the most powerful marine predators to have cruised prehistoric oceans: Basilosaurus. A dominant creature of the late Eocene, this oceanic giant embodied the absolute supremacy of ancient seas, establishing itself as an unrivaled apex predator, endowed with strength, endurance and predatory capacity unmatched in its ecosystem. Specimens of this quality, completeness and imposing stature are nearly non-existent on the international collecting market, making this fossil a true paleontological masterpiece. The skull is presented in excellent condition, with high-quality bone, well-preserved volumes and clear anatomical details, which strongly convey the aggression and original power of the animal. The visual impact is extraordinary, with a dominant and magnetic stage presence. - Skull length: 80 cm. - Ontogenetic stage: adult specimen. - Estimated animal dimensions: up to and beyond 20–25 meters in total length. - Geologic period: Late Eocene – about 40 million years ago. - Find: southwestern Sahara Desert, Boujdour Area. - Formation: Samlat Formation. The fossil is mounted on a wooden display column, designed as a design element. The column incorporates a hidden hatch that houses a secret compartment intended to contain valuable or collectible objects, without detracting from the visual power of the specimen. This Basilosaurus skull constitutes an iconic and unrepeatable lot, intended for top-level private collections, museums, foundations, corporations and representative spaces, where it can establish itself as a symbol of power, dominance and natural grandeur.
