Barwick Clocks Mahogany Finish Triple Chime Bracket Clock

A mechanical mantel clock in the traditional bracket style by Barwick Clocks, a division of the Howard Miller Clock Company. The wooden case features a reddish-brown mahogany-style finish, a brass carrying handle at the top, and a glass-front door. The dial is composed of a silvered chapter ring with black Roman numeral hour markers and Arabic minute numerals, accented by ornate brass-tone filigree spandrels and a stippled gold-tone center. A label in a rectangular cartouche at the center-left reads BARWICK, and a chime selector above the twelve o'clock position reads Westm-Whitt-Winch. The movement is a model 142 triple chime key wind mechanical movement with internal chime rods. The underside bears a yellow adhesive label reading BARWICK CLOCKS DIVISION HOWARD MILLER CLOCK COMPANY ZEELAND, MICHIGAN 49464 USA MODEL No. 4992. The interior of the rear door retains an original paper instruction sheet titled DIRECTIONS FOR NO. 142 TRIPLE CHIME KEY WIND MOVEMENT.
